Disney Cruise Line's newest cruise ship, the Disney Fantasy, sailed past the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline on Tuesday morning. She has traveled nearly 3,800 miles across the Atlantic Ocean from Bremerhaven, Germany 13 days ago.

The Fantasy will be christened in New York City during a night-time ceremony on Thursday.

Fantasy features 14 towering decks and 1,250 staterooms. The ship can accommodate 4,000 passengers along with 1,450 cast and crew members.

The Disney Fantasy's maiden voyage is on the 31st March, when she will sail seven night cruises to the Caribbean and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.
