Nature-Inspired Design Segway Tour Closing at Epcot

Disney have been evaluating Guest demand at some of their tours and sadly the Nature Inspired Design Segway Tour at Epcot will be closing on the 3rd July,

Guests can continue to book the Nature-Inspired by Design Segway Tour on 407-WDW-Tour (407-939-8687) as it is currently available for Guest bookings on the following dates:

• 6th and 27th March 2012
  
  
• 10th and 24th April 2012
  
  
• 5th and 15th May 2012
  
  
• 5th and 19th June 2012
  
  
• 3rd July 2012 - the final day of operation

The Around the World at Epcot Segway experience is continuing and can also be booked by contacting 407-WDW-Tour (407-939-8687).

Segway Central in Innoventions West will continue to be the training and initiation point for these Epcot-based Segway tours.

I didn't even know that had a nature one at EPCOT! We've done the regular EPCOT one and the one at Ft. Wilderness. Both were really nice. Might have done the third if we'd known!

I think it's been around since 2009 The tour gives guests a chance to interact with cast members and scientists and see how nature inspires their work environments. It is a three hour tour that lets guests ride on a Segway X-2 in an offroad, backstage area of Epcot.
