Disney's Fantasy will arrive at Port Canaveral early on Tuesday 6th March

In true Disney style, the theme-park giant is planning a spectacle for early Tuesday at Port Canaveral to mark the arrival of its newest ship, the Fantasy.

Fireworks will light up the predawn sky over the port, as the 4,000-passenger ship makes it way into the harbor channel. Disney Cruise Line plans to bring hundreds of Disney Cast Members to the port, including some costumed characters. The ship also will be greeted by a flotilla of watercraft.

Rosalind Harvey, Canaveral Port Authority senior director of communications and community affairs, said the port isn’t planning public events Tuesday to mark the Fantasy’s arrival. That will happen from 4pm to 6pm on the 31st March at Jetty Park, with details and parking logistics still being worked out.

But members of the public wanting to see the ship arrive and the related hoopla on Tuesday should plan to be at the port before its scheduled 6.05am arrival time at the port channel. Viewing areas include the waterfront in the port’s Cove restaurant district and at Jetty Park.

Harvey said she expects a large crowd Tuesday, considering an estimated 5,000 spectators watched the arrival of the Disney Dream last year.

That'll do Wendy. That's actually the one at Fish Lips Bar and Grill. On the current view, if you look just to the right of the ship that's currently in view (at the building with the arches in them), you'll see where the DCL terminal is. This camera is actually looking from the bar, across the channel, and into the turning basin. As such, it should provide an excellent view of the Fantasy as it comes into port, stops and turns 180 degrees and docks.

Saw all the smoke from them and heard them but didn't actually see them. Was the camera zoomed out enough to actually see them?

Yes, the camera was out wide enough, I was getting fed up because she was just sitting there When the fireworks started I realised why
