We are hearing that starting on the 13th March 2012, Walt Disney World Resorts will be introducing new cable TV channels in their resort hotels.

The completion of all Resort Hotels is expected to be completed by the 8th May, but on the day the upgrade takes place the service will be down for about 20 minutes between 10am and 3pm. The channel selections will be available on Channel 17.

The new channels will include the following:

  • AMC
  • Bravo
  • Discovery
  • Food Network
  • Fox News
  • History Channel
  • HGTV
  • National Geographic
  • SyFy
  • TBS
  • TLC
  • TNT
  • Travel Channel
  • TV Land
