That's the number of apps that have been downloaded from the Apple App Store.

And guess what the 25 billionth (that's, 25,000,000,000) app was?

It was Disney's "Where's My Water" app. Starring none other than Swampy. Downloaded in China. See this story.

It is truely astonishing how the app store has taken off, never thought it would work on the mac and it just does

I am sure I will be able to tell my kids 'I remember when there was only a handfull of apps in there'

If I was working at apple I would have to say

iTunes /App Store/photos/videos/ipod
