Tink's New Fairy Friend at Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival
Walt Disney Studios recently announced that a new straight-to-DVD film “Secret of the Wings,” starring Tinker Bell will be released on the 23rd October 2012.
This film follows Tink’s adventure into the forbidden Winter Woods where she will meet new friends. This year’s Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is giving Guests a sneak peek at one of the new characters from the movie.
Meet Periwinkle, the sparkling winter fairy, her topiary can be found in the fairies display near the Test Track walkway.

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

Yes, it is Mari.
The topiaries are nice enough this year, but we liked them much better when they included flowers for facial features (or bits of wood, or other vegetation). I understand that using mosses is much less expensive and the upkeep is much less, but you see what you get then, eh?
