Shoguns trip 2007 Monday Wk 1

MONDAY
Happy Birthday To You. Monday was Ted's birthday so it was going to be the center of the universe today.


As it was the first time for a lot of our group to go to MK we went on the ferry.


Once through the turnstiles


We were inside by townhall square just as the tram came by.


After picking up Ted's birthday badge we went into Main Street


Where the band sang Happy Birthday


Then it was off to the Castle


And through Frontier Land


Where we came across the Woody Show




And round onto Splash Mountain


Found a suitable hat for the birthday boy


On our way to Fantasey Land


And (I wont mention that we went on IASW)




And through Minni Mouses House

3pm rolled round and the parade rolled out










After the parade it was time to do our own thing for an hour. Think I might be the first to post a photo from the barbers shop as challenged by JJ earlier in the year.


Soon it was time to head for the Castle under darkening skies.


On the way saw a cormorant drying out


We all met Princess Cinders on the way in to the Royal Table




Liz had a salad followed by a bowl of fruit as she wasn't eating overmuch in the heat.




I had the salmon & asparagus followed by chocolate mouse


The food was fantastic and just to make sure everything was ok we had a visit from the fairy god mother.


We had an illuminations cruise booked for the evening but by the time the meal was over the rain was heaving down and the lightening was lighting up the sky so it was canceled. Back to the villa for drinks around the pool.

Ted seems a good sport! Those skies are quite a familiar sight this summer. Not a good summer for Disney touring, I'm afraid.

does ted know you have such cool photos plastered on the dis board he looks so good didnt know they had two cinders at royal table both look beautiful of course ::looks like the fairy god mother has been helping herself to someones food
