Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Grand Floridian Spa - As part of some planned changes for Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, there's currently construction going on near the Grand Floridian Spa. The spa will temporarily close on Sept. 19 and reopen in approximately 18 months. During this construction, the Fitness Left will remain open. Guests may be referred to The Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort for spa services.............…19th September 2011 - Mid 2013

Guest room door lock replacement - Letters will be placed in the rooms advising Guests the door locks will be replaced. Guests will not need to get new keys as their existing Key to the World cards will work with the new lock………….18th March - 17th April 2012

One has to wonder what they are doing to Oak Trail that it will be closed for 4 months.

It supposed to be close for rebuilding greens and irrigation replacement.

We were disappointed to find a number of key attractions closed when we were at WDW in April, including Thunder Mountain and Test Track. We didn't know about this thread at the time.

Is this thread being continually updated? We are returning in October and would like to have a better sense as to what's available, so we can better manage the kid's expectations this time.

Test Track will still be closed (through Nov 30th)
Country Bear Jamboree closed through Oct 16th
Typhoon Lagoon will be closed on Oct 28th for seasonal refurbishment

As of right now I believe that is it. Of course this is always subject to change.
