mac mouse issues
Lately I've noticed that my mouse for my mac is losing the connectivity to the iMac a lot. Does that mean it's going out and I need to buy another?

Re: mac mouse issues
Is this a Magic Mouse? When was the last time you replaced the batteries?

Also, if it's a Magic Mouse, you may want to download and install Magic Prefs. It let's you customize your Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad in all kinds of ways. But the best bit about it (other than the fact that it's free), is that you can tell it to display the Magic Prefs icon in the menu bar and tell that icon to reflect the available amount of battery you've got left.

... very nicely done piece of software.)

Re: mac mouse issues
Oh, I'll have to tell Herself about the download, catrancher. She uses magic mouse, and isn't exactly thrilled with it. I far prefer the track pad.
Thanks for the info.
Foreverducky, Herself has problems with the magic mouse too. Sometimes it just won't hold a connection and it's not battery related.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: mac mouse issues
Hmmm... strange. I've never had any issues with mine. You may want to check this Apple technote to see if there's anything there that might apply to you.

... weird... no, the problem. Not me.)
