At the recent THEA Awards Ceremony 2012, Disney have been honored with 4 THEA Awards.

THEA is an international non-profit association representing the world’s leading creators, developers, designers, and producers of compelling places and experiences. Each year the prestigious THEA Awards recognize excellence in the creation of compelling educational, historical, and themed entertainment projects.

The Awards have been given to the following

  • Star Tours – The adventures continues received the Award for Outstanding Achievement – Attraction Refresh.

  • “The Magic, The Memories & You!” show at Magic Kingdom received the Award for Outstanding Achievement – Show Spectacular.

  • Animation Magic in the Animator’s Palate Restaurant aboard Disney Cruise Line’s ship – Disney Fantasy was honored with the Award for Outstanding Achievement – Ingenious Use of Technology.

  • Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde also was honored with The Buzz Price Thea Award.
