My Mum and I are thinking of doing this, has anyone done it?

I can't help we've never done it.

I've heard it's supposed to be very good, but I'm not sure if it's more for younger children I'm sure some that someone here has done it, but I can't remember who, not much help am I

We've done it twice now and love it! It's great for kids but you certainly don't have to have kids with you to enjoy it! If there is anything you specifically want to know fire away but I wouldn't want to spoil anything!

what snacks do you get?

how long does it last?

is the music piped in?


does it go from the Contemporary dock?

I know it docks at the Contemporary

You start at the contemporary in a room where you meet your pirate guide and Hook and Smee, you can help yourself to per packaged snacks (popcorn, brownies, cookies, candy floss, trail mix etc) and cold and hot drinks. There are plenty there but honestly some people treat it as their weekly shop!

After photos you go to the dock to get on your boat, there are quizzes and games on the boat with your pirate, ours have always been very funny. You then sail round near WL to watch the water pageant before taking your place in front of MK just as Wishes starts, it's a couple of hours all in. Yes Wishes is piped in and the boat lights get turned off.

We've done it before as well and really enjoyed it. Andrew has a "pirate mug" that he won and he still loves to drink out of it!
