The Muppets Become the official New York City Family Ambassadors
On Friday, Mayor Bloomberg announced that for the next 12 months, the Muppets will be the oficial New York City Family Ambassadors.
In a press conference, the Mayor was joined live by Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo the Great, and Pepe the King Prawn. He said that he hoped the Muppets will encourage families to visit NYC and also highlight some of the shopping, dining, attractions and shows that the City has to offer.
If you are planning on visiting NYC over the next 12 months you can go to the official NYC Go website to check out the information about the City from some of your favorite Muppets.
