Who's ready for the new Johnny Depp movie?

Ya' know, I meant to post this up a week ago. My DW and I saw it too and while she liked it, it left me kinda cold. I did think there were some funny bits but overall, it was a big so what. At least from my perspective.

We saw it today and both liked it

It's not going to go down as an epic or tim burtons best but it was a fun enough movie

However unlike Johnie I'd call it a dark comedy the showing we went to saw the whole theatre laughing regularly all the way through.

Hmmm, mixed reviews.

The Chiller channel played the 90's remake last weekend. I watched some of it (even though I own it).

I did expect it to be dark comedy since it IS a Tim Burton but I expected more funny parts. And I didn't expect the more intense stuff. I went in completely clueless!

Of course, it did not help that I went to pick up the tickets and kept telling the lady I was there to see The Avengers
