Flights and baby milk and food
I'm a little confused, when I looked on virgins website they say on there you can't take more than 100ml of baby milk on board but when I have looked else where it says baby food and formula in exempt from this rule.
Does anyone know the guidelines for this to and from USA?

You are allowed to take over 100mls of baby milk on board, but only enough for the journey, you may be asked to taste it though.

Thank you

I did think about the boots airside, the only problem is when we come back an being able to buy stuff airside.
Im not fussed about having to taste the food and formula (have to say baby formula is disgusting). I'm assuming if we took the food jars and ready made formula cartons they wouldn't necessarily make you taste it.

There is a chance that they could ask you to taste the food in the jars, but so long as you know this is, hopefully it won't be a shock.

I was traveling with a young lady and her baby when the TSA asked me to taste the bottle of milk. I got a pretty big laugh when I quickly told them "Not happening!". It was breast milk. I did offer the suggestion of letting the baby have it.
