Soarin Closed at Epcot and Soarin California Closed at Disneyland California

Word is starting to come through that Soarin has been closed for an undertemined time due to safety concerns at Epcot and has also closed Soarin California at Disneyland California.

There seems to be a technical problem that has a health and safety concern. It sounds as if some Guests tampered with the safety belts and were get out of their seats before the attrraction began at Soarin in Epcot.

An unconfirmed report from a Cast Member at Epcot says that two Guests were seen standing in the corner while the attration was operating. Nobody was hurt but it prompted an immediate shut down of both versions at Epcot and Disneyland California.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration were informed and are involved and new seat belts will have to be installed before the attractions can re-open.

Both attractions will remain closed until further notice.

This is one of the few rides that I make sure to get a Fastpass as soon as we enter the park.

I've seen some reports this morning that Soarin is back up and running, but there hasn't been anthing officially released
