Has anyone here ever gone to Lake Beuna Vista Alehouse?
I just found a menu for this place, and it looks reasonably priced as well as giving me a good few options for my fussy eaters! Are kids allowed too?

Re: Has anyone here ever gone to Lake Beuna Vista Alehouse?
It is a pretty good place, Cathydisneynut! Children are certainly allowed. The food is SUBSTANTIAL. The nachos alone can feed a small army! It's pretty basic food, but there are some gems on the menu. The blackened prime rib sandwich is excellent.

If there are beer drinkers in your party there are loads of beers on tap. It's essentially a sports bar with TVs all over the place, tuned into any number of different games. It's a bit of a version of ESPN, but with a much more extensive menu.
Do give it a try. I think you'll be quite pleased.

Thanks Tink! Basic is definitely a favourite with DH and DS. DH won't be able to try any beers though, he'll be driving!

Re: Has anyone here ever gone to Lake Beuna Vista Alehouse?
Where are you staying? I ask because if it's on WDW property, you could actually walk to the Ale House from DTD. It's not really all that far, and it's one of the few places that is sort of ok to walk to.
You'd walk to the Crossroad's Plaza intersection then take a left. There is a short bit without good pavement there, and much traffic, but a wide area to walk on regardless. It's directly across the very next intersection (you can see if from Crossroad's).
That would allow your DH to have a beer and then once back on property leave the driving to Disney.

We are at Saratoga again, Tink. DH's eyes lit up when I said he could walk there and get a drink!

Re: Has anyone here ever gone to Lake Beuna Vista Alehouse?
That won't be a problem at all then!
Walk to the intersection at DTD. Then follow Hotel Plaza Blvd until it intersects SR 535 at Crossroad's Plaza. Take a LEFT. (Don't cross over the intersection, say on the "left" side). Walk along the grass to the next intersection (County road 535 and State Road 535 and Palm Parkway. CR 535 become Palm Parkway on the other side of SR 535) and the Ale House will be directly in front of you. You will have to cross over CR 535, so keep a sharp eye, but you'll be fine.
Good that you can walk to it!
