Whew, I think I've made my decision. I'm going to buy the new version of the iPad. If I need to type more with it, I'll just pick up a keyboard later on.

Hmmm....
Just had it pointed out that the turn-by-turn navigation or flyover functionality in IOS 6 will only work on the iPhone 4S or later and the iPad 2 or later. Even though IOS 6 will supposedly run on an iPhone 3S and up.
Kind of a disappointment since I was looking forward to the turn by turn directions but both I and my DW only have iPhone 4.
Tom (.. not sure I'm wild about some of this obsolescence...)

But if you've got the 4S, it will work for you. My issue is that all we've got is the 4. And according to what I've heard, no turn by turn. Originally Posted by Keith
