Re: Apple Anonymous
Yes. Supposedly you can use the same one on all your Macs. As long as they're one of the following models:
- iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
- MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
- MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
- Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
- Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
- Xserve (Early 2009)
But, but, but. Before you run it on your iMac or MacBook Pro, copy the Installer (in your Applications folder called "Install OS X Mountain Lion") to a USB stick or an external hard drive. If you run the installer on any of your Macs, after it installs it will delete the installer app. So, unless you copied it before you do the install, you won't have it around anymore afteward.

Re: Apple Anonymous
From the license agreement:
Emphasis mine.download, install, use and run for personal, non-commercial use, one (1) copy of the [the OS] directly on each Apple-branded computer running OS X Lion or OS X Snow Leopard...that you own or control.

Re: Apple Anonymous
It's not expensive, but is it worth the upgrade?

Re: Apple Anonymous
Odd. ABC News asked the same question. They seemed to think so. So do I. And so do you.
Can you say "dictation on your Mac"?
Tom (
... and yes, CCC is still running!)
