Do you Plan or Take Each Day as it Comes?
When we first went to WDW, we had the guide book with us all the time and followed a plan religiously
We darted from one side of the park to the next to beat the lines at rides and came home completely shattered
Nowadays we just take it each day as we go, we don't rush to be at the parks for opening or go to a particular park on a certain day. If we want to go on a ride and there is a short line, then we will wait, if not, well there's always the next time.
We find it so much more relaxing this way rather than packing in as much as we can and then coming home and feeling like we need another holiday.
What do you do, do you plan or take each day at a time?
If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
.................

Re: Do you Plan or Take Each Day as it Comes?
We used to always plan. Go here, do that, don't be late. Felt like the Mad Hatter in Wonderland.

But since my DW developed her heart arrhythmia, we've been taking it much easier. On our last trip, we basically just lounged around the pool at the resort most of the time. Only went to the parks typically for our ADR's and the occasional ride or parade.
It's odd, but we still have just as much fun taking our time as we did when we were running around.
But it's soooo much more relaxing.

Depends. Usually, it's do what we please when we please. However, when we have a new person with us, we'll have a bit of a plan to try and get as much done as that person may want.
Being close, we don't feel the need to stand on line if the wait is too long (again, unless someone new is with us and they want to do the attraction).Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Generally take each day as it comes unless we have an ADR in a park (rare).

Re: Do you Plan or Take Each Day as it Comes?
I prefer the parks at night (being kinda a vampire and all that) so I start by looking at the EMH nights if we're staying on site. Any park events like the christmas party etc.
Then I'll book an adr for that evening and plan to be at that park from early evening onwards.
I'll know which things we want to see and do there so we'll arrange it to do all those things.
There are certain traditions. Have to do Illuminations at EPCOT with a glass of champagne from France, so I'll plan that
but otherwise it's just "fancy MK today?"
