Re: Beach Club to EPCOT
I know the kitchens of WDW are truly clean, clean, clean but food allergies can be very serious and any Chef would want to know that someone had a serious one.

Re: Beach Club to EPCOT
I can vouch for that if my experience watching the chefs work at V & A`s from the Chef`s Table is anything to go by.

The number of times that the various pans were washed and scrubbed in scalding hot water had to be seen to be believed and everywhere had the appearance of an operating theatre.

Re: Beach Club to EPCOT
Our "insider" tells us the same for the other kitchens, too Slowhand. He says the comparison between and Disney kitchen and the other place he works (non-Disney) is unbelievable. So much so, that he no longer eats or drinks anything out of the other place.

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
.................

I know, right?!
Part of it is that the management has really fallen off, too. You can't have a decent restaurant if the managers don't care, or don't know what they are doing.

It's a shame the meal we had there was really nice, so the only good thing about that place now then is the server

Re: Beach Club to EPCOT
We always enjoyed ourselves there too, but we no longer go. Upper management changed and that resulted in major changes to the restaurant. He only works there one (sometimes 2) nights per week now, so even that isn't a reason to go.
It's a real shame because it was convenient and very reasonably priced. The restaurants in that area are all chains, but that one stood out. At least for awhile.

Re: Beach Club to EPCOT
Beach Club is a nice hotel better than Boardwalk IMO. Children will love the pool there. When you check in I am sure that you can ask being close to the elevator or an exit. Walking from Beach club to Epcot is much shorter than walking from BW to Epcot.
