Seasonal pricing for character meals?
Just having a browse round to see what character breakfast we can book for our first morning when I found this...
Note that the price of this meal varies based on the time of year (peak seasons vs regular season), and even on the day of the week (weekday vs weekend). The general price ranges for this meal are as follows:
Adult price range: $38.33-$42.59; Child (ages 3-9) price range: $19.16-$21.29
Is this right? Not only do I pay more to get the WDW and to stay there because I choose to stick to school holidays, but now I have to pay more for my food too?
Maybe I'll just go to IHOP instead.

Sad but true. I think Disney is trying to force everyone to stay on site and buy the dining plan. I am getting to the point where I will be eating almost all dinners off site

I dont like this sort of thing at all, it makes me sooo cross that they can just do whatever they want with their prices - its just not fair!!!

I thought it used to be just the Thanksgiving and the Holidays that had the increased prices

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

Re: Seasonal pricing for character meals?
Staying offsite, especially in a villa, and using the kitchen to prepare much of your own food is not only more comfortable, more cost effective, it's also healthier as you can control what you eat much better. There are so many offsite places to eat that paying the exorbitant park prices is not necessary at all.
Enjoying your holiday shouldn't include trying to force down the knowledge that you are being ripped off at every turn.
