      I've ordered a new pin number from the bank just in case I need to use it at an ATM. It'll seem strange signing again after using chip and pin for so long.

      I had to sign in Asda the other day as their system was down. When she turned my card over I hadn't signed the back of the card luckily I had other forms of identification on me

      I checked my card this morning Wendy and not only have I not signed it but it's still got the sticker on the front asking me to activate it by ringing the following number. Can you tell I've not used it for a while!

      My bank have just sent me a new credit card out of the blue - with a chip on!

      And a note saying if you are going overseas you need to get a PIN.

      Great timing, guys, I have just over a week till we go and you tell me this!!!

      I will ring the bank shortly and hopefully it won't take long to get a PIN but this is a hassle I don't need!


      Pop Century 2005, 2007, 2008 and maybe 2012?

      Not once did we need to enter our pin. It was all signatures.

      In my case Kaz it's the same pin I use at ATMs. It might be the same with your card.

      Yeah and if you think I can remember that!

      Oh well, I know cards are less used in Japan and if you think we'll be ok in US I will stop panicking!::

      Will ask the bank about a PIN though.
