Ever been short changed ?
Me and two mates went to the pub, spent £25 on beer and so put £10 each on the bar, the barman came back with five pound coins and we took a pound each and left two pound tip for the barman. So we spent £9 each so if three times nine is twenty seven and two pound for the barman that makes £29 so where on earth did the other £1 go ??

Nope. Brit's right. 8.3333333 x 3 = 24.99999.
But since there's no such thing as .99999 when we're dealing with money (except when you're banks and the rounding errors figure in your favor), it rounds up to 25 even.

... still, it's an expensive beer!)
