      getting into a parade?

Ive seen families ride on the parade itself, how does that happen? does it help to have the little ones dressed up?

      How about the monorail?

I think you just have to be lucky to get into the parade but I know you can ask to go up front on the monorails

Anyone can ride the monorail. You can take it between the MK resorts, or you can take one from MK to just outside the gates of EPCOT.

If you ask to ride up front be prepared to wait. Usually there are folks ahead of you who want the same thing.

I know riding upfront on the Monorail is something Owen would love to do. I think we'll ask when we are there as it'll probably be the high point of Owen's holiday!

Try to do this on the monorail from the TTC to Epcot as it is quite a long ride without any stops unlike the MK loop.

The parade is pure luck. You have to be in the right place at the right time. We were chosen in 2001 for our DGD's 9th birthday. We were among the first in the park that day as we had CRT and after breakfast we strolled back to the front of the park and caught the first horse drawn carriage as it was coming out of the barn. They wouldn't let anyone else on and we drove down Main Street with each of our DGDs being given a chance to steer. When we got to the Castle a CM was there to greet us and he asked us if we would like to be Grand Marshals that day.
