I can't believe how much you were able to do in 1 day. I have lived in NYC all my life and I have never been to the Top of the Rock nor have I been to Ellis Island. I haven't been to the statue of liberty in over 30 years. The 911 memorial is something I will do in the future, still too painful. Hope you have a great trip.

The Memorial is a beautiful spot, I find the sound of the water so peaceful...did you also visit the museum (over by the firehouse)? It's quite moving as well.

Ok, yesterday we went to Central Park Zoo via the Apple store! A small zoo so didn't need to stay long. We then wandered through the park itself. It was yet another glorious day. So much so that a young and busty lady was sunbathing in only a g-string.

We got the subway back to the hotel where we showered, changed and went to watch Wicked at the Gershwin theater. Front row seats were great and we both really enjoyed the show.

I saw Wicked a couple years back and loved it, my wife took my daughter a couple of months ago and she hasn't stopped asking to see it again since that day. Central Park Zoo is tiny but if you ever get a chance to see the Bronx Zoo you will love it . I am quite impressed with how much you have seen and done on your trip so far.... Keep going and I hope you have a fabulous trip.

Wow Diane! That is a full platter to be sure. Glad you are having a great time. There is so much to do and see in NY. Never did a lot of those things you did. Ellis Island is big on my bucket list. Would love to see what my ancestors saw for the first time coming here from Ireland and the Ukraine. Would love to see it through their eyes.
