Re: Has anyone ever done the "Surf Lessons" at Typhoon Lagoon?
Alysia did it in 2003. She liked it a lot. Said it was a lot harder than it looks.

Never done this but I did use to surf when I was younger.
It is a lot harder than it looks
but it is really good fun learning and I should imagine it would be even better at TL.
So long as you have good balance you should be ok and you will have a blast

So you can take some photos then

The girls will have a great time
so long as they aren't worried about falling underwater

Re: Has anyone ever done the "Surf Lessons" at Typhoon Lagoon?
Surfing is harder than it looks. The board has it's own mind at times. Used to do that and a bit of boogie board when I was younger. We didn't get much surf on the Gulf Coast but did get some.
I've seen them doing this at Typhoon Lagoon although I've never participated. They were just finishing up one day when we got there. Everyone seemed to be having a blast. I wouldn't mind doing it myself sometime!
