The readers of SportsTravel Magazine have spoken. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has been selected as a finalist for multiple 2012 SportsTravel Awards. Over the past several months the publication took nominations from event organizers, host cities, venues, suppliers and sports participants.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, which hosts more than 350 events each year, was named a finalist for three separate events: 2011 Walgreens Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival, 2011 Pop Warner Super Bowl/Cheer & Dance Championships, and 2011 ESPN Rise Games.

Voting for the 2012 SportsTravel Awards closes on Aug. 15 at 5 p.m. Ballots may be cast at www.vote.schneiderpublishing.com/ballot. The award winners will be announced at SportsTravel‘s 2012 TEAMS (Travel, Events and Management in Sports) Conference in Detroit on Oct. 4.
