My Penny Jar
Last night I decided to see how much money I had saved from loose change and it added up to £197 which means that I will have $300 to spend on snacks etc at the Food and Wine Festival
I might start saving now for next year and see how much I have then

I used to have a change jar that was a FishBowl (ginormous alcoholic drinks served in it) from Joe's Crab Shack. It broke
so now I save my change in a Mickey pumpkin head.

We have ours in a giant glass jar in our kitchen.
I can no longer lift it. It's a wonder it hasn't crashed through the floor to the basement.

We use old glass jug style bottles and separate the coins one from the other. Haven't counted it in years...

We''re going to get one of those pot of dreams money pots in a couple of weeks for next year. You have to break it to get the money out, hoping that will stop us dipping into it

My problem was stopping DH taking the £2 coins as I collected them as well

Deafjeff and I have just opened ours for our trip. Nice amount for shopping at the Florida Mall.
We both had metal tins that couldn't be opened except with a can opener. That way you can't sneak in and "borrow" change for the car park.

We have a giant plastic bottle that held around 10lbs of cheese balls All the shiny pennies go into the little Mickey bank I have for squished pennies
