Has anyone ever used these for flights to Orlando.

My friends are trying to book 4 seats for next year in the summer holidays and they have been told by a very unhelpful operator that there is no way they will get 4 seats at that time of the year.

These reward companies are fine in principle [Virgin Atlantic included], but it can be a heck of a problem sometimes when you try to redeem your hard earned points for flights.

I reckon that they are all tarred from the same brush.

I agree, although touch wood, I have been lucky with the VA points just lately

The biggest problem for them will be getting the flights in the summeer holidays, they may have to try another way.

i did it for last year with BA exec club points but no avios. If you want set dates then you'll be disappointed, i booked online and i bought singles, cost a bit more in taxes but i wouldn't have got what i wanted if i hadn't. Travel on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays seemed to be more available. We went out on a Sunday and flew back on a Thursday.
