is there much to do at the kennedy space centre?

We've never tried the kennedy space centre but with the special offer on at the moment we're tempted to

is there much to do there though? enough for a whole day??

I love KSC and try to visit every time we visit Florida, although sadly we ran out of time on our recent trip.

Taking account of the journey time to and from Orlando, then certainly reckon on spending a full day there.
I would recommend taking one of the bus tours which take you all aropund the complex where you can hop on and off at various areas.
The IMAX theatre is also worth seeing, and apart from that there are loads of exhibits to view as well as a space shuttle simulator which IMHO is much better than the ride at Epcot.
Silly as it sounds, you could spend ages in the gift shop there too if you have any interest at all in the space programme.
