It is pretty common for the ducks, seagulls and grackles to "interact" with guests.
It comes from all the guests feeding them. The gulls can be pretty vicious. Iv'e seen them swoop down and grab food right off of trays as people were carrying the items to their tables. Scares the life out of most people.
