It surely does, Dr. Ducky. We were almost on sensory overload with the majestic vistas nearly everywhere you turned. We pretty much avoided the heavy tourist areas and trekked through the areas that were more "local" in flavor. We'd watch from the highest point of the ship to see where the majority were going and then we'd head in the other direction.

Oh we have any number of photos, Wendy! Of course, there are quite a few that are "frame to frame." Eagles in flight, whales diving back down, that sort of thing.

Many of the shots were purely for practice.

I didn't get any of the Aleutian Ballad up yet. It takes quite a bit of time for them to upload...

The colors were amazing, especially of the water. It ranged from a deep navy blue to almost a South Pacific blue (as with the coast guard shot) to a green shade. I used to be pretty biased against the Pacific, calling it a dark and murky sea but I've since learned that is not the case! It is less saline than the Atlantic, that's why the oysters tasted so different.

This is the Sumdum glacier. We were meant to see the Sawyer glaciers but as previously said, had to turn back. This was pretty impressive, regardless of being second choice.

Just amazing! Dh has always said that he wants to see Alaska more than any other place in the world. Looks like something we might be doing someday
