SeaWorld's Spooktacular Halloween Weekends
This year we decided to go to SeaWorld for their Halloween event, which is called Halloween's Spooktacular Event. What I liked about this is that is completely free and is included in the park admission. It has Trick and Treating, fun activities for kids, face painting, characters wandering round and character meet and greets.
Unlike Disney it is only on during weekends in October and children are encouraged to to wear their Halloween costumes, adults can as well, but no masks or scary costumes are permitted.
As well as Trick-or-Treat Stations, Spooktacular Characters, Sea Snacks, Penelope's Party Zone, Caricatures, Face Painting, Spooktacular Merchandise, games and Penelope's Photacular.
When you get to the entrance of the Trail you will be handed a map and a Trick or Treat bag for your candy. The bag is a nice size with cord handles, a bit like a gift bag. It's actually much nicer than the bag you get at Disney for their Halloween party.
There are fifteen different candy stations set up through out the park where kids and adults alike can pick up candy. You are normally handed 2 pieces of candy at each station but there is no limit to the amount of times you can go round.
SeaWorld's Spooktacular takes a different route than most Halloween parties. Sea creatures roam the trail and you get to met characters like Hammerhead Shark, a Manta Ray, Anglerfish, Jellyfish, sea witches, a school of fish and their teacher.
At the Bayside Stadium there is a special dance party called Penelope's Party Zone, which includes a live DJ, arts and craft stations and an apple or rice crispy treat decorating station.
SeaWorld’s Spooktacular takes place on October 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28. All Spooktacular festivities begins at noon.
I would recommend it to anyone with younger children it was fun to walk around and little ones especially seemed to love it.
Here are some photos of the event:

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
