SeaWorld Orlando Raises Ticket Prices Again!

SeaWorld Orlando is raising ticket prices for the second time in four months, boosting its base prices to match those of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando while dramatically increasing the cost of annual passes.

Single-day tickets to SeaWorld will increase by 4.7% to $89 per adult.

Admission to SeaWorld's water park, Aquatica, will increase bu 10% to $55 and a 2 park combo ticket to SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will increase 3% to $139.

The largest increases it to Annual Passes which increases by 25% to $119.99.

A spokesperson for SeaWorld said "We're dedicated to providing our guests and fans with values and experiences they can't get anywhere else, our guests continue to tell us that SeaWorld Orlando delivers an exceptional entertainment value."

SeaWorld is keeping some discounts and pricing options. A $10 discount is available for single-day and multi-park combo tickets purchased online. And the Florida-resident price for an online-purchased combo ticket to SeaWorld and sister water park Aquatica will remain at $99.

SeaWorld said it also will continue its popular "Fun Card" promotion in 2013. Under that program, Florida residents who buy a single-day pass get unlimited admission for the remainder of 2012 and all of 2013.

We're lucky to have bought our annual SW/BG passes for our previous summer holiday. Because they are for 15 months, we also get this Christmas trip and our summer trip next year from them.

We visit SeaWorld and Busch Gardens a lot and I still think they are great value for money compared to WDW/Universal. I wish we could buy our WDW annual passes for the same price.
