Apple advice

I am looking at getting a new addition to my apple gadget collection,😄
I can't decide if I want the MacBook,iMac or mac mini.
I only really want it for photo and video editing, I will also using it other things.
I really like the new iMac which is due out this month, but then like the idea of the mac mini as it can connect to my tv.
Please help.😄

if you want it for photo editing i would go for the 27 inch imac. We bought one earlier this year and love it, apart from being very good at what it does it is a thing of beauty. I watch movies and catch up on TV on it too.

I'd agree with britchick.

The 27" iMac is brilliant for photo and video editing.

Tom (... If I didn't absolutely need portable, I would have been perfectly happy with the iMac I bought.)

Well, hard to say. Do you feel an overwhelming need for an optical disk for DVD's and CD's? If so, then the current one might fit you better. If you're going to move it around at all though, you might want to wait for the new one which is about 9 lbs lighter than the current one.

It's a difficult decision for sure. The best advice I can give in that regard is to make a list of what's important to you. Then compare the tech specs of the new one and the old one.

In my humble opinion yeah. They're better in every way other than they lack a dvd which you can add if you need via usb anyway.

Now, the older models (which I have) are brilliant too. SOOOO if someone offered you several hundred off, then I'd do that but if its both at rrp, the new ones would be the better decision.
