December 2012 Park Hours Updated
I think Disney is expecting it to be a very busy December. There have been quite a few changes to the park opening and closing times, seeing all 4 parks with extended hours. It would seem that even Animal Kingdom will be open from 8am - 9pm some days.
The Magic Kingdom's hours have changed a lot and on some days is open from 8am - 1am and then there are Extra Magic Hours in the morning and at night. This is obviously to do with the New Fantasyland.

Magic Kingdom....or Epcot for illuminations, we'll see what time we get there i think. Might be better to get unpacked then get an early night

If traffic is any indication (we've not been to WDW since the Festival of the Masters) the place must be mobbed. Going to work, no problem. Coming home is a miserable ride with a steady flow of out out state drivers who are afraid of the 8 lanes.
I know they aren't all going to WDW, but many of them must be.Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Disney are obviously concerned with the amount of guests that intend to visit. I was surprised when they said they were opening New Fantasyland for Christmas. I suppose they wanted the beginning of December to bring in more people, well they have certainly succeeded

I think during the week will be ok looking at predicted figures, weekends at MK is a no no though. We'll just get up early and use our disney knowledge
