Documentation Needed

A week tomorrow and we'll be checking in for our first ever Disney Cruise

What documentation do I need to keep with me when checking in? I've read the cruise website and its all a bit daunting. I've done my ESTA and have my passport. I've just printed off the check in form from the cruise website.

Is there anything else that i'm going to need to have with me?

This is really aimed at people in the UK who have done the cruise before.

This is really aimed at people in the UK who have done the cruise before.

So long as you have your passport and the completed DCL forms with you, the only other thing you will need at check in is a credit card to ensure that any on board charges are settled.
I`ve never been asked to show an ESTA form at the DCL check in. I guess they suppose that without this document, you wouldn`t have been allowed in the USA in the first place!

Thanks for that. The only form I had to fill in and sign is the check in one for DCL, is that right?

Have you done the on-line check in Lisa?

Yes, that was the only form that it told me to print, sign and bring with me. Well what I could see anyway

Ok then it seems like you are all set.
Somewhere there should be a place for you to sign which allows others in your party to charge things to your "Key to the World" card.[I can`t remember if this is part of the on-line process or if you actually do it at the terminal.]

To be honest, I wouldn`t worry about things too much.
I always find that my documents arrive at my house in the UK very close to the sailing date and I once asked DCL about what would happen if they failed to arrive before I left for the US.
Their reply was basically that this would not cause any problems at all since everything could be done at the port on the day of your sailing even without the original documents. They would also provide you with the luggage labels that you need to ensure that your bags turn up at YOUR stateroom!

When you enter the cruise terminal you will find loads of DCL staff who are there to help you and assist with the documentation etc. before you get to the check in desk.

You will be very impressed with how slick the whole check in/boarding process is.

We've received a small wire bound booklet with lots of info in, it also has our luggage tags too.

We don't know our stateroom number yet but presume they'll assign it once we check in

Your stateroom no. should be printed on your luggage labels they sent you Lisa.

I think as we booked last minute it's not been assigned to us yet. Our booking says GTY by stateroom

On your luggage label, below the name of the ship, there should be some numbers in bold letters ...this is your stateroom number.

I just dug out an old one of ours, where our room number was 6548:~
