Enchanted Tiki Room - Love or Hate

I have never seen the show and I have heard lots of different opinion.

Do you love or hate the show and do you prefer the new show to the old show.

Never seen it, just doesn't appeal to us.
Maybe one day if it's pouring with rain and we need shelter for a while....

I enjoyed the original and didn't like the updated version. Now that they have dumped the annoying Iago, I enjoy seeing it again.

I don't consider it a love hate relationship. It is nice to get out of the heat for a while and I much prefer the original show to the one with Iago and I'm glad it is back.

I liked both versions. The original was nice, but the remake was fun too. It's something that was really unique when it first came out, but now it's a tried and true classic.

You really need to give it a try, Wendy just to say you did if for nothing else.

I like the original version best buy it's a catchy little tune and a nice break from the heat. Or the rain lol

The first time I ever saw this was in the mid-80's at DL. I'll admit to being a little nervous at first. Then, when they turned out the lights, I was actually frightened! But once the show started, I was fine- well, until the tikis started moving their eyes and mouth. Eerie!

Then at the end when you hear the thunder and you see the lighting and rain in the window, I actually thought a storm had come up. Was I sure surprised to walk out into California sunshine! Remember, I was new to Disney magic! That was my very first Disney park visit!

I cant believe that I have never gone in to the Tiki Room. I have seen so many people mention that they hate it that I have never bothered. I am going to do it this year though as I have now watched it on Youtube.
