Port Adventures
Hi,
I got this from DCL website
On this tour you will:
Take an approximate 45-minute drive along the Lower Corniche to Monaco.
Ride an escalator and elevator up the cliff and enjoy a 45-minute guided walking tour (wear comfortable walking shoes) passing by the Oceanographic Museum & Prince's Palace and an inside visit of the Monaco Cathedral. Note: This tour includes approximately 0.5 miles of walking at a steady pace, part of which will be on cobblestones and uphill.
Does anyone know what the escalator and elevator is like? I am not that brilliant with height at times.
Does anyone have picture of this
Thanks!

Re: Port Adventures
Monaco`s harbour is surrounded by steep hills and the escalator/lifts are there just to get you from where the bus is parked down to the town.
I haven`t used any of them although I have walked past them and I doubt whether you would even be able to see outside so a fear of heights is not something to worry about.
If you can handle these things in say a department store then you will be fine.
They are correct in what they say about the walking aspect as some of the streets are quite steep and have cobblestones to boot.
We survived in our trainers ok.

Re: Port Adventures
I`d definitely opt for Monaco/Monte Carlo.
We stayed in Nice when we went to the Monaco GP and ok, it`s not a bad place to visit although there didn`t seem a lot to do there.
Monaco is well worth a visit though even if you don`t follow F1 and just want to do some sightseeing.
