Harrison Ford Close to Signing Deal to Reprise Role as Han Solo

According to the "Parallel Universe" blog, published by MSN Entertainment, Harrison Ford is close to finalizing a deal to reprise his role as Han Solo in "Episode 7."

It is rumoured that Ford, director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Michael Arndt and LucasFilm head Kathleen Kennedy have all agreed that Solo will return."

At this point, Ford's agreement to return to the series is all speculation but, if true, perhaps Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, won't be far behind.

Interesting. I will be anxious to see if this is true or not. Part of me can't imagine him playing that character at his age, but hey, the man did Indiana again, so I suppose why not? I am interested if only for the fact that I love those characters so much. Still not sure what to think of Disney buying the franchise.
