Gourmet double chocolate chunk cookies

Makes 2 dozen

1 cup of butter
1 tbs brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 packets (18 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chunks.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees, 190 Centigrade or gas mark 5

Cream butter, sugars, vanilla and cocoa powder. Stir in remaining ingredients and blend well. refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls on to an ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake until cookies are set (5 to 8 minutes). Cool slightly and remove from sheet. When making larger cookies, press down slightly on cookie dough and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
