Where Do You Go to Get out of the Heat at Walt Disney World

If you are visiting the parks, and it is a very hot day, where would you go to cool down?

Is there somewhere that you have found that you can sit in the cool with a drink and bring your temperature down.

Finding places to sit, even in the shade, is often quite difficult. We don't really have a favorite place to grab a cool drink at MK, but at DHS we hit the Tune In Lounge. At EPCOT there are any number of places round the World Showcase that one can duck into a cooler environ for a drink or just to browse. Again at AK we really don't have a favorite place.

Hall of Presidents is a good cool napping place lol. If you sit me still long enough, I will fall asleep

Ellen is also a long, lovely nap

Tune in Lounge for a drink

If its too hot, avoid AK like the plague

At MK, it used to be the little hidden cinema. Is that still there?
Or the PeopleMover, the train or the covered area near the Dole Whip stand.

In AK, the Dawa Bar. I love that place!

At Epcot, Spaceship Earth or several of the Countries back areas, such as Japan.

At DHS, the waiting area outside the ToT.

I notice you both mention Ellen. Just ask Donna, I almost always fall asleep on that one.

Haven't given DAWA a try yet. Is it an indoor or outdoor bar?

Becca, is that the little coke cola hut by the bridge? We love that place.

Now don't be a hater, heat never enters into it. We have only gone in late fall, winter or early spring. Usually (as mentioned in other recent threads) the problem was where do you go to get warm???

We normally have an adr for lunch which helps a lot!

Otherwise we go into a shop, any shop hahahahaha

Dressing in cool clothing that doesn't cling, and is soft. I can't stand clingy itchy clothes. Sometimes hats, depending.

We move in and out of the shade as we walk through any park. EPCOT and AK are our favorites (there's news).

No really special place, just in and out of the heat and sun as the spirit moves us.

Canada, France, China - their movies are nice for a break and cooling off. Oh, and Norway too. I think we are the only people who like the Norway movie!
