Is anyone else still watching this, to me it seems a bit slow this season and seems to have lost it's way a little.
I hope it picks up though because this is one show that I really enjoy watching and no it's not just to see Damon with his shirt off

I was going to buy the books, but I was worried that it would ruin the series for me

The series is based on the story of the books, but it's not like twilight or Harry potter where the books follow the books completely.

I really enjoyed the first couple of books, but I am not enjoying the one I'm currently reading.

I'm still watching it, mainly to see Damon with his shirt off.
This series seems very disconnected, as if they're not sure where it's going. I'll keep watching and hope it comes together.
