Some of the movies I've really liked are, Philadelphia, Big, The Crying Game, Schindler's List, A Beautiful Mind, Julie and Julia, Amadeus, Children of a a Lesser G-d... those sorts of things...

ive bought this for dh for his birthday, cant say im looking forward to watching it - he desperately wanted to see it at the cinema but i managed to talk him out of that one! at least i can fall asleep on the sofa if we watch it at home!
