Magic Kingdom's Extra Magic Evening Hours are being Cancelled from 31st May to August 2013
It would seem that for some reason only known to the powers at be at Walt Disney World, Extra Magic evening hours at the Magic Kingdom are being cancelled from the 31st May 2013 through to the end of August 2013.
The Magic Kingdom will instead be open from 9am to 11pm on Fridays. I will update the calendars for the Parks and post a link when this is done.
I can see this will be a disappointment for some people who have made plans around the Extra Magic Hours.Last edited by Wendy; 19-03-2013 at 07:44 PM.

It does seem strange, first they cut EMH in the evening from 3 hours to 2 hours and now in the Magic Kingdom they are cutting them all together in some June, July and August. Makes me wonder if they will update September as well at some point.
Maybe they have worked out that having the Magic Kingdom open an hour longer for all guests is more cost effective than having the Magic Kingdom open for 2 hours with onsite guests

We rarely use them, but IT IS one of the most advertised perks of staying onsite!
