Walt Disney World Guide Maps
Disney have changed their Park Maps in readiness for MyMagic+. The new WDW Guide Maps also feature information encouraging guests to use the My Disney Experience Mobile App, and offer a QR Code for easy access. When you scan the QR code with your mobile device, it takes you directly to a page on disney.go.com that allows you to download the My Disney Experience App from iTunes, Google Play, or Amazon.
If you click on the Park Guide Map Pictures below it will take you to a PDF of the Map.

It's the new service that Disney are bringing in, it will utilise the RFID technology so guests will have Magic Bands that they wear to scan for puchases. ADRs, fastpasses.

Herself downloaded the app and we used it when we were there over our short holiday. It's a little buggy, but she was able to make an ADR for us. On an android phone the dining feature is problematic in that when you try to access the menus the whole menu does not show on the screen. It's also very "touchy." For example when you try to scroll, the first thing you touch (no matter how lightly) will begin to load. That can be frustrating.
Hopefully, it will improve with time because it really is one of the best techno things Disney has done.
We didn't use the new technology other than that as we have the old paper APs. Oh, we did use the key card for room entry, of course. You just hold the card up to the "gizmo" on the door and it flashes green and unlocks. Pretty cool!Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Well as someone who stays off site, I'm not interested in the Mymagic +, but I like the maps because, well basically I'm so excited anything to do with Disney is the best thing ever.
