I have done both.. the show is cute to see but beating the crowd is great. i like doing the early morning at the mk...not crowded and still in before the rope drop

Trust me to be diferent
I love the opening ceremony show before the park opens. Usually the mayor of MK opens followed by the Main Street Entertainers....then the train comes along full of characters including the mouse himself.
