I believe this is the resort where Dawn stayed and she was quite satisfied.
I've not been in this resort but it has a decent reputation as a good basic, CLEAN resort.
Surely worth a try at that price!

I've seen it from the outside. It's nice to look at. It is VERY close to Disney and I have heard good things about it. I'd stay there for that price.

I think (but check with Dawn first) that you could walk to DTD from there. Then it's a simple matter to hop a bus to any resort and you are good to go.
For that price it'd be worth it to take a cab to Sea World and US/IOA. Simply instruct the driver to take the Palm Parkway to Turkey Lake route and you've got the short cut too. Palm Parkway to Central Ave for Sea World.
