if airplane duty goes up
do we have to pay more if the fuel duty goes up after we've booked and paid?

Re: if airplane duty goes up
don't think so. The APD duty on our booking has nearly doubled since we booked and have introduced an ATOL fee - so far our booking has not been amended. I think it says somewhere in the small print they absorb a certain percentage of increases.

Re: if airplane duty goes up
in most cases no the increase will not affect you, UNLESS you make a change to your booking, then you will have to pay the new taxes and fuel surcharges.
The only time they do state in their terms and conditions is if the increase is over a certain %age (each supplier is different) then they can apply to you to pay the increase. But most Long Haul suppliers are not exercising that policy at this time.
