Well they're owned by Anheuser-Busch who are being taken over by a company who doesnt have an interest in the theme parks and is expected to sell them to recoup some of the money.

So it does look likely that they'll be up for sale

I must say I'm nervous about this

As you say, it's not quite as straight forward releasing animals back into the wild if they have been kept in captivity. It would be totally irresponsible and incredibly stupid of PETA to do that.

When I did the Marine Mammal Keeper experience at SeaWorld, I got a good idea of just how much care is given to the animals and what they do for conservation. I would hate to think all their efforts had gone to waste

I'll be as mad as hell if they carry this out!
